Jason Kenney held an anti-Carbon tax rally in Calgary on Friday with his “good friend” Doug Ford. As always, I’m impressed with the narratives that politicians create and I reached out to Dr. Michael Lukas from the University of Victoria to talk about how political rhetoric is used to persuade people to believe almost anything.
We also look at a strange story out of Hamilton, Texas about how a stick figure on a sign was turned into a caricature of a Supreme Court Justice’s daughter for political gain.
Editor’s note: the Texas Agriculture Commissioner is Sid Miller and the bill we are referring to in the last quarter is Bill C-16.
